Asiago Mezzano Classic Cheese

A cheese produced with cow's milk, rennet and salt. The milk comes exclusively from areas of protected origin (DOP); the area of production is the nort-east of Italy. ASIAGO MEZZANO MONTI TRENTINI has a distinctive, but at the same time, mild, delicate flavour. It is a semi-hard cheese with a compact texture and is scattered with small to medium-sized holes and has a light straw-like colour.

It is usually made in the late autumn-winter period with semi-skimmed milk, specifically chosen from the splendid high mountain pastures of the Trentino region and the Asiago plateau, which guarantee its quality and bring out its distinctive flavour.

It is an excellent table cheese, rich in proteins, with a balanced presence of fats, minerals and vitamins.To be eaten with light red wines or rosès.The Consorzio di Tutela Mark "TN 207" "VI191"Aged: 3-5 months.Wheels of 8/12 Kg.
